Who we are
CineHaus (“CineHaus”, “we”, “us”) operates cinehaus.org and related pages and services (the “Site”).
CineHaus is a brand owned by NO LONGER NETWORK and ROOM 8 FILMS.
What this policy covers
This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you:
- Visit our Site
- Join our newsletter
- Buy tickets through third parties we link to
- Use our Photobooth
- Use our in-person Shop ordering experience
Information we collect
1) Information you provide
Depending on how you interact with the Site, you may provide:
- Newsletter sign-up info (like email address) submitted through our newsletter provider (Sender.net).
- Messages you send us (for example by email to info@cinehaus.org or social@cinehaus.org).
- Information you submit through our in-person Shop (for example an email address used for receipt/confirmation, if collected).
2) Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we (and service providers we use) may automatically collect:
- Device and browser information (browser type, operating system, device type)
- Approximate location (derived from IP address)
- Usage information (pages viewed, referring/exit pages, approximate time on page)
- Identifiers such as cookies or similar technologies, when enabled
3) Photobooth media
The CineHaus Photobooth is designed so that photos and videos stay on your device. We do not require an account.
The Photobooth uses your device’s camera/microphone only after you grant permission in your browser.
If you choose to save or share a photo/video, that happens using your device’s native share/save tools.
4) Ticket purchases
We may link to or embed third-party ticketing tools (for example Ticket Tailor).
When you click or interact with those tools, the third party may collect information directly from you under their own privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
We use a cookie banner so you can choose whether we can use analytics cookies.
Google Analytics (optional)
If you accept cookies on our banner, we load Google Analytics 4 to understand basic Site usage (for example which pages are popular).
If you decline, we do not load Google Analytics.
You can change your choice at any time by using the “Cookie preferences” link in the Site footer.
How we use information
We use information we collect to:
- Operate and improve the Site
- Publish and promote screenings and events
- Send newsletters and event announcements (if you opt in)
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
- Help keep the Site secure and prevent fraud/abuse
- Understand what content is most useful (analytics, if enabled)
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information:
- With service providers who help us run the Site (for example hosting, newsletter tools, analytics)
- With payment processors and ticketing providers when you choose to use those services
- If required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety
- In connection with a business transaction (e.g., merger, acquisition, or asset sale), if applicable
Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law or needed for legitimate business purposes.

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

- Opt out of analytics cookies by declining cookies on the banner (or changing your preference in the footer)
- Unsubscribe from emails using the unsubscribe link included in our newsletters

Children’s privacy
Our Site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
International visitors
If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective date” above when changes are made.
Refund and Credit Policy
Please note that all ticket sales are final. CineHaus does not offer refunds for any reason, including illness, scheduling conflicts, or personal emergencies. However, we are happy to issue a full credit for the value of your ticket, which you can apply toward any other CineHaus screening of your choice, pending availability. To request a credit, please contact us via this platform at least 24 hours prior to the event start time. Credits are non-transferable and valid for 12 months from the original event date.
